Personal Blog of Toshiko Sato

Hello there! I'm Tosh; I work in a small government department in Cardiff. Feel free to drop me a line!
No, you have helped a lot. I was going to ask her at the London Eye but I’ll keep it to myself. If you love someone you have to let them go, right? That’s how it goes, isn’t it? I do with Jack. I don’t see why I can’t let Molly find someone else.

Please don’t hurt her.

God, I couldn’t. I couldn’t retcon her. She doesn’t deserve that. Oh, Tosh. I don’t know how I could live keeping that large of a secret from someone I care about. It’s best we’re just friends. She really is someone special. A lot like you.

Thank you, Ianto. That means a lot.

I’m sorry I can’t help you more with this problem.

It kind of just happened. Just a kiss on the cheek. I don’t know what I was thinking. She was just standing there and I went and did it. She’s showing me London. I’ve never been to the zoo or the London Eye. And Torchwood. I can’t do that to her.

I know, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to imply anything about you. You’re a gentleman. :)

I stand by what I said before, though. I don’t think introducing her to Torchwood is a good idea, especially now that I know who she is. It’s not fair on either of you, expecting her to keep that secret. Or retconning her.

I’m not going out with her. I mean, we’re friends and we’re going out but we’re not going out in the sense that Owen goes out with women. Does that make sense? We’re friends. But I think I’ve shown my hand about how I feel about her. Not dating.

But you said you kissed, and you’ve been on dates with her before.

Yes, well. I think you need to know something important. My friend ‘Sally’ has a cat named Toby and more importantly she works in a morgue. I think that might valuable information about her you might find… interesting.

You’re … this woman you’re going out with is Molly?!

That’s … that’s lovely, Ianto, really. It’s great for both of you. I’m happy for you.

… Oh? What’s her last name? I didn’t know you knew anyone in London. Small world though it is only a few hours away. How long have you known her?

Molly Hooper. You might have seen her on here, actually, she’s got a blog. :) I’ve known her for ages; we went to university together. We didn’t really talk for a long time after that, though, but we reconnected recently. She’s still as adorable as ever.

Sometimes I wish that too but I wouldn’t leave the team. Not after that… incident. At least I can still see her when I go to London. I keep buying her cat cat toys. He seems to really enjoy them. We’re going to the London Eye Tuesday. Not a date.

Maybe she should meet my friend Molly, she dotes on her cat. And she lives in London, too, what a coincidence! I love the London Eye, that sounds like a lovely idea.

I know. Thank you. You’re level headed and that’s what I needed to hear. It’s just so difficult. I’ve never met anyone like her. Not to sound overly cheesy but she’s the like the sun. Bright, loving, warm, amazing, and fantastic. I miss her.

I’m happy for you, I really am. I wish you were in a better line of work where you could get the happiness you deserve. She sounds lovely.

I know that I do… I just don’t know if she’s interested in me. She’s beautiful and intelligent, and her job is a bit off center which is fine considering ours. But what about Torchwood? I’d hate to drag someone else into this place.

I know. I don’t want to sound harsh, but maybe it’s best if you keep her away from all this. We both know what happens if you let love interfere with your work.

Alright, I met this girl in London. We’ll call her uhm, Sally, and she and I have… an interest in each other. However, I’m not entirely sure she’s interested in me. We went out to the zoo it was lovely. Even a goodnight kiss but then there’s Jack.

That’s lovely for you! But I see what you mean about Jack. I think you need to talk to him about this, not me. I’m not exactly the best at relationships.
